Andi Arief Proposes Presidential Candidates for the Test Read the Letter At Taubah Ayat 119, Why?

Portal fakta. Jakarta - Wasekjen Democrat Party Andi Arief agreed with the challenge of the Koran reading test for candidates. Andi suggested that the candidates read the letter At Taubah verse 119.

"The proposal to read the Qur'an is interesting, I recommend to read the Quran reading test letter At Taubah verse 119," Andi told reporters on Monday (12/31/2018).

The Koran reading test came from the Council of the Aceh Dai Association. They invited the presidential candidates for the Koran reading test at Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Banda Aceh, January 15, 2019. Returning to Andi, he then explained the meaning of the letter At Taubah verse 119.

"O believers, fear Allah and be with people who are honest / true," Andi wrote the meaning of the letter At Taubah verse 119.

Then, why did Andi propose specifically that the presidential candidate be tested with the Letter of At Tawbah verse 119?

"Yes, that is so that our presidential candidate understands that the leader must be honest. It must not lie to the people," Andi said.
