Mardani: Naturally, If People Wish Their President to Read the Koran

You see, January 15, 2019 hasn't entered the open campaign period. The new open campaign began on March 24, 2019. It is feared that the reading activities of the vulnerable Koran are considered as campaigns.
"We will check the implementation with the KPU, not to allow all schedules to be coordinated with the KPU. If not, it can be considered a campaign, even though the campaign is still closed now. The campaign opens in March. The rules are rather rigid," said Mardani.
Mardani has not yet checked Prabowo-Sandiaga's readiness to face the Koran reading test, if it is implemented. However, Prabowo is considered very serious about preparing himself for the 2019 Presidential Election.
"Read the Qur'an one thing, but also more than that it must really be able to carry out the contents of the Koran," said Mardani.
Previously, Sandiaga Uno himself responded that his party would follow the KPU in terms of the Qur'an reading test. "We just take part in the KPU. What direction does the KPU direct us," said Sandi after inaugurating the Solo Raya National Secretariat Post on Jalan Adi Soemarmo, Klodran, Colomadu, Karanganyar, Sunday (12/30/2018).
